NEW STUFF

Oky doky, time for an update. We got quite a bit coming up, and you're gonna love it!

First, check out and see what Saber Industries has been up too. Here's a sneaky look at just one new item to get you enticed.

Also, some new costume photos in the Fashion Industries section, from the Seattle, WA based "Star Trek" fan production "Star Trek Phoenix", are up in the Fashion Industries section. I was an assistant costumer on this production, as well as fight choreographer, production assistant, and a few other jobs. It was kind of a long list lol

More on fashion, we've started taking orders over at the Mandalorian Mercs for some Soft Goods. Vests, Jumpsuits, gun belts, dresses *coughs* I mean kamas, and we have some more stuff coming down the pipeline like balacavas and boot spats. Looks into what Fashion Industries have been up to!

And the big kahoosh is a new project for a 501st buddy of mine (who shall remain nameless for the time being until he says otherwise). If you've ever heard of "Star Wars: The Old Republic" then you know I'm talking about the newest MMORPG from LucasArts and BioWare. Set thousands of years before "A New Hope", the True Sith have finally attacked the Republic in force, and they're there to stay. Our mouths have been watering with the awesome cinematic trailers that've been released. Check 'em out:

"RETURN"

"HOPE"

INTRO CINEMATIC

Oky doky, now that your mouth is watering too, lets get back to that cool project I was telling you about. Remember the "Hope" trailer? Remember those cool looking Republic Troopers? The group of troopers you see are called "Havoc Squadren" (check out more info here). Well, we're making one in 3D. My buddy in the 501st is an armor maker, and he'll be making them available to 501st members once I'm done, he cnc the molds, and does some vacuuform magic.

Here's a look at the armor:

This will be the armor and the helmet. As for weapons, I'm not entirely sure yet. The Havoc squad's leader's knife, more than likely. As for the weapons, I think Woodchuck is working on them. And speaking of Woodchuck, he's awesome. Looking forward to getting his Bryar Pistol one day =P Check him out here: http://woodchuck.imperial-web.com/

Anyways, we'll be posting up WIP pics soon.

BTW, some info on the Republic Trooper's (RT) look. Yes they do look like Clone Troopers and Stormtroopers. However, in the "Star Wars" universe, this is supposed to be standard style of equipment for soldiers. If you think about it, in the past century, the soldier's look hasn't changed all that much around the world. Thicker armor, yes, but the general look, no. So it stands to reason that they'd still look much alike... some several thousands of years later... Yeah, we figured it's just so people can recognize it as "Star Wars". After all, there are people out there who *sigh* have only seen "Star Wars" once.

Anyways, that's all for today. Come back soon for more project updates and news!
